Find the sale before you pay full price.

Brands run sales on their websites, in banner images, and sometimes only on Facebook. PriceDrop Hunter notices them as you browse, and the next time you search for something, it tells you which stores have it on sale.

Chrome Web Store listing coming soon. No account, no tracking, nothing leaves your browser.

Features

Built for how people actually shop

🛍️

Works on any store

No store list to set up. It reads the product data most shops publish, and falls back to the visible page for the rest.

📉

Price history

One price a day per product, a small chart, and a clear verdict: lowest, highest, or normal for this item.

📣

Facebook sale posts

Reads sale posts and photos on brand pages (logged in or not) and links them to the brand's website.

🧠

On-device AI, optional

For banners the rules can't read, Chrome's built-in AI reads them on your computer. Off by default.

৳

Made for Bangladesh

Understands ৳ and Tk prices, “+ VAT”, Bangla digits and words like ছাড় and অফার.

✍️

Add what it missed

Saw a sale it didn't catch? Add the discount and end date in two clicks from the popup.

Privacy

Nothing leaves your browser.

There is no PriceDrop Hunter server. The extension only learns from pages you open yourself, and keeps what it learns in your own Chrome profile.

  • No account and no sign-up.
  • No server, no analytics, no tracking pixels.
  • Stored locally in chrome.storage.local. Clear it any time.
  • AI runs on your device. Chrome's built-in model, nothing uploaded.
  • Open source. Read every line on GitHub.

Under the hood

Rules first, AI only when needed

  1. Store dataschema.org product info that most shops publish for Google
  2. Page patternscrossed-out prices, “Save ৳ X”, “% off” labels, sale banners
  3. Facebook textpost text plus Facebook's automatic image descriptions
  4. On-device AIonly if a page mentions a sale and nothing above could read it

Plain JavaScript, Chrome Manifest V3, no frameworks. Tested against saved store pages on every change.

Questions

Do I need to log in to Facebook?

No. It reads brand pages and photos whether you're logged in or not.

Which stores does it work with?

Any online store you visit. It has extra rules for Amazon and handles most Shopify, WooCommerce and custom-built shops automatically.

Will it find sales on stores I've never visited?

Not yet. Because there's no server, it only knows about stores (or Facebook pages) you've opened at least once. A background re-check of saved stores is planned.

What does the on-device AI need?

Chrome 138 or newer and a reasonably recent computer (about 22 GB of free disk, and 16 GB of RAM or a GPU). Without it, everything else still works.

Does it change prices or add affiliate links?

No. It only reads pages and shows small notes. It never edits links or adds referral codes.

Stop missing the sale you'd have wanted.
